Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Anxious Kids

This Group is forming now. Registration closes Friday, March 29.

This 10-session mindfulness program is a healing opportunity for anxious kids ages 9-12. Children will learn to relate in a more adaptive way to their emotions and worry rather than being overwhelmed by their anxiety. This evidence-based program can benefit any child in growing self-acceptance and resilience while decreasing worry and anxiety. The group helps children bring more awareness to their inner world and self-regulate through games, arts and crafts, mindful movement, and mindfulness meditation practices.

When: Thursdays, April 4-June 6 from 4-5:15 (plus extra 15 minutes after first and last class for parent information session)

Where: Memphis Center for Mindful Living, 4646 Poplar, Suite 435, Memphis, TN 38117
