Looking for a therapist in Memphis?

Evidence-based therapy for children, teens, adults, and couples — integrated with mindfulness and somatic practices

You have so much to take care of and people to care for. But you are missing out on your own life. You feel hopeless when you wonder if you will ever feel like your old self again, the person who had confidence and energy. It just feels like all you do is manage crises after crisis. It's wearing you down with how much you give and you just want to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You’re ready for a change, to breathe freely again, and to feel the weight of everything lifting off you.

At the Memphis Center for Mindful Living, we support you with our counseling services, as well as your whole family. Through our counseling for adults, children, teens, and couples, we offer the support and tools needed when you or your loved ones are struggling with stress or  relationship issues, as well as anxiety, depression, past trauma, addiction, chronic health issues, or the unique challenges of being neurodivergent.

We are also excited to offer you services not generally available at counseling centers, which expand on our counseling  services and support our mission of developing a vibrant and mindful life for everyone we serve. We offer mindfulness classes, yoga classes, retreats, and nature connection events which deepen our ability to regulate our mind and body, leaving us restored and reconnected to joy and hope.

We invite you to contact us about your particular needs so we can answer your questions and connect you with our counseling team member who is the best fit for you or your family. We also invite you to explore our site and learn more about our offerings and some of the specialized therapy approaches we offer. We look forward to joining your journey into vibrant living.

You Can Heal.

Mindfulness Is More Than a Buzzword—It’s a Path to Healing

It’s not about clearing your mind or pretending to be calm. It’s about learning how to meet yourself—with curiosity, compassion, and less pressure.

In our work together, you’ll discover how to:

  • Soothe your nervous system with grounding practices

  • Ease physical symptoms of stress like headaches, fatigue, and tension

  • Interrupt spirals of overthinking and self-criticism

  • Listen to your body without fear or frustration

  • Reconnect with your creativity, intuition, and calm

All you need is a willingness to slow down—and a guide to help you come back to yourself.

Who We Work With:

  • Elementary School Children & Teens — support for anxiety, trauma, depression, school stress, OCD, chronic health issues and relationship issues

  • Adults — evidence-based therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, addiction, relationship issues, chronic health issues and life transitions

  • Couples — strengthening communication and connection

  • LGBTQIA Clients — affirming care for children, teens, and adults

  • Neurodivergent Clients — affirming care for children, teens and adult with ADHD and autism
