Jess Peeler, LPC-MHSP

Psychotherapist

“While there’s life, there’s hope.” - Bilbo Baggins

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) specializing in supporting women aged 20 and older through challenges such as trauma, attachment issues, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, codependency, and grief. I believe that true connection with others, ourselves and God is what brings true life and healing. My therapeutic approach is grounded in an attachment-focused lens, allowing the client and I to explore the root causes of emotional struggles and work toward lasting change.

I integrate a variety of modalities in my practice, including Somatic Experiencing (SomEx), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based techniques. I also incorporate breathwork and mindfulness with clients to help them find more connection with their bodies. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and am deeply committed to empowering clients to heal, grow, and cultivate a life of freedom and choice.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, friends and family. A few of the ways I love moving my body are practicing hot yoga, lifting weights, and running. I’m a lover of the outdoors—whether it’s gardening, camping, hiking, or simply walking my sweet dog, I find peace and freedom in nature. When I'm not outside, you can find me watching the Grizzles, Liverpool Futbol Club, or reading a good book.

From my own therapeutic journey of healing, I know this process isn’t easy. My clients are some of the strongest people I know, and it is an honor to know each of them. The journey may be long and hard, AND, while there is breath and life, there is hope. If you're ready to commit to the process, I would be honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing.
