Women’s New Year’s Day Wintering Retreat

Ready to start your year off right? Join us for an afternoon retreat on the first day of the new year! We will practice “wintering” together. Taking our cue from this first season of the year, we will practice healing through rest and renewal. We will rewild ourselves to be in sync with the rhythms of the season, as we take insight from the natural world. If you push yourself to exhaustion, live in burnout, feel pressure to say yes to everything, or are at a standstill as you come to the end of life-as-you-know-it, come learn to “winter” with us!

Iyengar yoga instructor, Karla Ingram, will invite us to find renewal in our bodies through a restorative and accessible yoga class. Meditation teacher and psychologist, Dr. Amy Balentine, will offer education, reflective journaling, and meditations that invite us to find healing in our pause. We will end the afternoon with deep listening to share our meditation experiences and insights with one another. If you have never meditated in a group setting, you may be surprised at the power of the group to hold space for greater concentration, open heartedness and connectedness. Bring the gift of your presence to yourself and your community by joining us for an afternoon of meditation.
